Tessa Kolff has worked in this field for more than 20 years. Majoring in Psychology with an accompanying minor in Early Childhood Education, Tessa went on to pursue her Masters degree in Special Education at Simmons College with a focus on Behavioral Education.
In 2004, Tessa saw the need for a small, detail-oriented group of highly trained professionals to provide exceptional behavior consultation and behavior analytic services to families in Massachusetts; Steps to Success Consultants, LLC was born from that need. Her intention was, and continues to be, to create a company that provides high-quality services and expert advice to parents, families, and schools and has low employee turnover rates, with qualified practitioners who love working with children.
Tessa has always worked to learn new ways to provide effective parent training for the families at Steps to Success Consultants. An interest in organizational behavior management (OBM) has also led Tessa to ensure Steps to Success Consultants stays a dynamic team that works hard and has fun while providing behavior services to children and families.
Tessa holds her BCBA and LABA credentials and belongs to the Association for Behavior Analysis. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
